GENERAL

  • How long do I have to wait for my first issue to arrive?

    The arrival time for your magazine is dependent on the frequency of distribution. 

    Universal Shop process your order immediately, the next issue dispatched will then be the first for your subscription. 

     

    The industry standard delivery times are presented below:

    For bi-monthly publications please allow up to six to nine weeks for your first delivery.
    For quarterly publications please allow up to ten to thirteen weeks for your first delivery.
    For international delivery please allow up to ten to thirteen weeks for your first delivery.
    For special offers please allow up to six weeks for delivery.
    For back issues please allow up to six weeks for delivery.

  • My magazine hasn't arrived this week/month, what do I do?

    The arrival time for your magazine is dependent on the frequency of distribution.

  • Are my details safe and confidential, and how will they be used?

  • Is it safe to purchase online?

    Yes. All information you provide is encrypted using the latest Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, ensuring your credit or debit card details are safe, sound and secure.

ORDERING

  • How can I pay for my subscription?

    Universal Shop accepts payment via the following methods:


    - Visa
    - Mastercard
    - American Express
    - PayPal
    - ApplePay & Google Pay

    - Shop Pay

  • How do I know my order has been successful?

    On successful completion of your order Universal Shop will send you a confirmation via e-mail of your details. 

    This email will contain your Order ID #. This number should be retained and used in all future correspondence.

  • How long should I expect to wait to receive an e-mail acknowledging that my order was successful?

    Confirmation emails should arrive within 24 hours of placing the order. If you haven't received anything after this period of time, please call us on 1300 303 414

  • How do I change my address?

    You can contact us at subscriptions@umco.com.au and supply the following information (see below) and we can change it for you:

    1. Biller's Name
    2. Biller's Email
    3. Magazine Title(s)
    4. Recipients Name
    5. Old Address
    6. New Address

GIFTS

  • Can I purchase a subscription for another person as a gift?

    Yes, if purchasing through our online shop

     

    Enter your details in the Biller Details, and the gift recipient's details into Shipping Details.

TRANSFERS, RENEWALS & CANCELLATIONS

  • Can I renew my subscriptions online, if so how?

    Yes you can renew your existing subscriptions at Universal Shop. Simply select the magazine you wish to renew, add it to your shopping cart then proceed to the checkout. Please Note: You will need to ensure that the recipients name/ email address/ shipping address match the original order.

     

    Alternatively, you can call us on 1300 303 414, and we can process a renewal over the phone for you.

  • Can I unsubscribe/cancel my subscriptions?

    Cancellations or refunds are arranged if there is a fault with the product, problems with the delivery of the product, closure of a business or other extenuating circumstances. Under Australian Consumer Law we are not obliged to offer refunds for 'change of mind' reasons. We are happy to advise you on any information you require through CONTACT US
    Standard practice is to refund monies for the remaining issues in your subscription at the time of cancellation.

MISCELLANEOUS

  • Can I purchase back issues?

    For many titles, Universal Shop offers back issues. 

    Where back issues are available they can be accessed by:


    1. Searching the title of interest,
    2. Entering it's title page, and then;
    3. Selecting the issue of your choice

DELIVERY

  • Can I use a PO box for billing and receiving magazines?

    Yes. PO boxes can be used for the billing and recipient addresses of magazine subscriptions.

  • Can I use a Parcel Collect/Parcel Locker for receiving magazines?

    No, unfortunately Australia Post prohibits delivery to Parcel Collect/Parcel Locker addresses at this time. For more information, visit https://auspost.com.au/receiving/collection-points
