Our big story this issue — well, there are a few of them — but the one I wrote about the soon-to-be-released Moto Nineties film was very cool because I got to chat to a few legends of moto and the industry about one of the greatest eras (if not the greatest) of supercross and motocross in America. The rivalry between Jeremy McGrath and Jeff Emig in the ’90s was all-time. McGrath hated Emig for his so-called “dirty riding” and arrogance. Emig also thought McGrath was arrogant, and he had a photo of him behind his speedball, and all he wanted to do was take the King down, which he did three times: twice outdoors and once indoors. Now they get to share their thoughts about the ’90s and their intense rivalry on film. No holding back, with McGrath saying: “We agreed, if we go there, we go there. No need to become friends yet. This isn’t a fluff piece — we all shoot bullets, and we all take bullets!”

There’s also a stack of other good stories in this issue, from the champion’s mechanic, Danny Apro, and his successful journey, to an insight into the KTM Rallye from a tour operator’s perspective, a wild trail ride in Thailand, and an adventure ride searching for clues about the famous Aussie bushranger Captain Thunderbolt. We also tested Beta Motorcycles’ 2026 off-road range, and Suzuki’s DR‑Z4S, and Cooper Sheidow runs us through his 24-Hour Trial-winning WR450F. Plus, we have our regular columnists and new products, so I’ll let you get into it and sign off for another issue. Thanks for reading, guys and gals. Goba.
